Front Runners New York Announces 2025 LGBT Pride Run® Sponsors
Front Runners New York (FRNY), the world’s largest LGBTQ+ running club, is proud to announce the official sponsors of the 2025 Front Runners New York LGBT Pride Run®, taking place Saturday, June 28, in Central Park as part of NYC Pride weekend. This year’s sold-out 4-mile race will once again be hosted in partnership with New York Road Runners (NYRR), the nonprofit that produces 60 annual adult and youth races, including the TCS New York City Marathon, and is presented under the theme “The Power of Our Community.”
The 2025 Pride Run is made possible thanks to the generous support of this year’s sponsors, whose contributions help power one of Pride weekend’s most popular traditions.
New Balance returns for the fifth year in a row, continuing its visible commitment to LGBTQ+ athletes.
Returning for a second year are Hospital for Special Surgery, which supports the health and mobility of our community, both on and off the course; Strava, the app for active people, helps runners of all identities track their progress and celebrate their achievements; Volvo Cars, which brings its legacy of safety and innovation (and the pace car) to the Pride Run; and beloved local venue Boxer’s NYC, lending its support as a community hub and gathering space for queer New Yorkers.
This year, the Pride Run welcome two new sponsors: La Roche-Posay is thrilled to be a first-time participant in the Pride Run, offering complimentary sunscreen to all runners and spectators, as well as free skin checks conducted by board-certified dermatologists; and Peloton brings its expertise in fitness and technology, including Peloton instructor Matty Maggiacomo, who will be participating in the race, rounding out this year’s sponsor roster and helping us go farther and faster with greater impact.
“Together, these partners help Front Runners New York continue creating joyful, affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ runners year-round. In 2025, when many companies are scaling back their commitments and turning their backs on LGBTQ+ communities, these brands are stepping up,” said Ryan Hallett, President of Front Runners New York. “Their support sends a powerful message: inclusion is not up for debate, and queer joy deserves to be celebrated, not sidelined. We’re proud to run with brands that show up when it counts.”
Now in its 44th year, the Pride Run has become a marquee event of Pride weekend in New York City and a national model for LGBTQ+ visibility in sport. In addition to celebrating identity and community, the race raises vital funds for LGBTQ+ nonprofits. This year’s official beneficiary is Lambda Legal, the nation’s oldest and largest legal organization working to secure full civil rights for LGBTQ+ people and those living with HIV.
“The Pride Run has always been about more than just miles; it’s about visibility and resilience and the power of our community – and those who support us – showing up for each other,” said J Solle, Race Director of the 2025 Pride Run. “This year, thanks to our generous sponsors, we’re not only creating an incredible event for LGBTQ+ runners and allies, but also making a direct and impactful gift to Lambda Legal, which feels especially meaningful at a time when our rights are being challenged across the country. Together, we’re running not just for ourselves, but for everyone still fighting to be seen, heard, and protected.”
With more than 8,000 runners expected and a portion of proceeds supporting Lambda Legal’s life-saving litigation and advocacy, the 2025 Pride Run stands as a joyful act of resistance – a celebration of how far we’ve come and how far we’re willing to go, together.
