The club loves to celebrate the accomplishments of all its members: PRs, distance debuts, and even your “I-got-out-of-bed-and-ran-a-race” races. To be included in the weekly Front Runner Gram, please submit your race information before 9:00 PM on the Tuesday of the week's Gram using the race report form.
NYRR Racing
As a vital part of the New York City racing community, FRNY participates in races organized by New York Road Runners. NYRR offers races at a wide array of distances and competitive runners can earn Club Points toward NYRR standings.
FRNY LGBT Pride Run®
FRNY holds the world record for the largest Pride charity race with more than 10,000 runners in 2019 during Worldpride/Stonewall 50 in New York.
FRNY Track Meet
The club encourages participation in specialty races and hosts an annual track meet.
FRNY Cross-Country Meet
For a change of scenery, FRNY heads to Van Cortlandt Park for some light trail running.
Gay Games and More
Every 4 years, FRNY travels to Gay Games — LGBTQ Olympics that happen around the world.
Performance Team
A team of runners within the club to represent FRNY in elite or local elite competition, while proudly representing their queer identities.
