2024 Indoor Track & Field Meet

Who

Anyone who is 18 years of age or older, or who is 14-17 years of age and has written parental consent, is eligible to participate in the FRNY Indoor Track Meet. Athletes who are 14–17 years of age, the consent form is available here.


Registration

Online: $25 (plus a transaction fee) before Friday, March 29th, at 11:59 PM.

On Site (day of meet): $35 — can be paid by Venmo, credit card, cash, check (payable to Front Runners New York), or credit card.

The registration fee entitles you to run as many races as you want. Please keep in mind that you can only register for relays on-site. Event add/drop forms will be located at the check in table.

Order of events

Track

  1. 60m

  2. Mile

  3. 4X200m

  4. 400m

  5. 800m

  6. 200m

  7. 4X400m

  8. 60m Drag Dash*

Field

  1. Shot Put (open pit, 4 attempts)

  2. High Jump

  3. Long Jump (open pit, 4 attempts)

Please keep in mind that the 60m and Shot Put will promptly start at 2PM.

Structure of heats (Track)
Heat structure will be based on time, regardless of gender, starting with fastest times. Athletes that are attempting to break a record and need for us to make accommodations to the heat lineup, please notify us beforehand. We will be more than happy to accommodate!

Awards

Individual events: awards will be given to the top three finishers in the male, female and non-binary divisions in following age groups: under 19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, & 70+ years.

Relay Events: awards will be given to the top three finishing mens, womens, non-binary and mixed gender teams in the Open and Masters divisions.

60m Drag Dash

  • Each participant will be assigned a heat and lane number at the beginning.

  • When lining up in their lane, each participant in that heat will be asked to introduce themselves.

  • After everyone in the heat has lined up, the gun will go off and everyone will dash down the 60m course.

  • After all the heats have gone, all participants will line up and the judges will announce the winner.

This meet is USATF Sanctioned.
