Long Runs

Our club organizes weekly long runs of distances from 10 to 22 miles to help members build and maintain endurance and to prepare for races longer than a 10k. Each Sunday, the runs are hosted from a member’s home or local business and the coordinators prepare routes of 3 distances.

Come run as a group to help keep each other safe, sane, and accountable. Enjoy a snack and rehydrate while commiserating the bitter cold NYC winters or blisteringly humid NYC summers with your fellow Front Runners.

Our newsletter is distributed every Tuesday morning with details about the routes, location, and time of that week’s run. It contains some tips for long distance running, marathon training for target fall races, and celebrates members’ accomplishments at the marathon distance and beyond.

In addition to weekly long runs, we organize annual events like training runs along the last 20 miles of the NYC and Boston Marathon routes and a Midnight Half Marathon spanning the length of Broadway.
