About the Organizers
The inaugural "Gay Pride Run", now referred to as the "LGBT Pride Run", marked the start of an enduring collaboration among Front Runners New York (FRNY), New York Road Runners (NYRR) and the City of New York.
Front Runners New York (FRNY) has been an active running and multi-sport club for LGBT and LGBT-friendly athletes for more than 30 years. It continues to be true to its original mission of providing a healthy athletic and social experience to the LGBT community. It is bigger and better than ever and hope you join us for a run soon!

Participants of the LGBT Pride Run
Whether you're a top racer or a novice, the Pride Run delivers a unique experience from the colorful outfits and cheering crowds at the start to the rainbow popsicles at the finish line. Over 5,000 of you ran the 2015 LGBT Pride Run! That's after the race sold out in early May—almost a full month earlier than the prior year.
The members of Front Runners New York extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who registered, ran, cheered, and helped to celebrate this historic year. Read a full recap of the 2015 LGBT Pride Run or consider reviewing the 2015 Pride Run Program Book!
Since 2009, Front Runners New York (FRNY) has donated over $100,000 from the proceeds of the LGBT Pride Run to charitable organizations, both to fulfill its mission and serve the needs of its members and the greater LGBT community. The 2015 LGBT Pride Run beneficiary was Immigration Equality. Recent beneficiaries of the LGBT Pride Run include:
